I am proud of this blog and have been since I started it back in 2013. This blog has been a process and, like me, has been through some ups and downs the past few years, but it has always remained a passion project. Because of the amount of time and effort I have put into creating content I choose to use affiliate links to compensate myself and support my book buying habits.
Whenever you read one of my book reviews you might find links to a webshop where you can buy the book in question. If you click on the links on this website and make a purchase, this website might receive a (very) small commission. This is of no extra cost to you! Even though the commission might be small, whenever you decide to shop through these links it is highly appreciated!
I am involved in affiliate programs for Book Depository and Bol.com.
On Eat Train Read you will find a plethora of book reviews. A lot of the reviews I write are for books I have purchased myself. However, I do receive advance reading copies (ARCs). When this is the case I specifically disclose this in the post. Other than receiving the ARC, which does not sway my opinion in any way, I do not get paid for the reviews I write. I pride myself on always being honest for every review I write.
Currently, I am not involved in any (paid) sponsorships. Should this, in the future, become the case I will clearly mark these as “sponsored” in a disclosure message on top of the post. I will only consider sponsorships for products I genuinely believe in and am enthusiastic about.
If you have any questions about this disclaimer (or anything else for that matter), please don’t hesitate to contact me!
