What’s going on
January is behind us already! First month of 2014 is done with already and we’re well on our way to warmer weather (which I am in some desperate need of). While I love snow, I hate the snowless weather that’s been pestering us Dutch people the past few months.
The perks of living in the Netherlands guys: Its cold and unbearably rainy in January. Which basically translates in one big fat guarantee for me to get sick. Which almost always happens, unfortunately this year as well. I got sick, fever-ish, felt absolutely crappy, and got stuck with a bad case of my throat feeling like sand-paper.
I’m better now, and plotting and scheming for things to come… I just love saying that! Though you probably have no idea what mean. So, let me lay it out for you: March 10th is my blog’s birthday! And not just a birthday, no the FIRST birthday! And I have so much fun things for you in store! Also, some awesome giveaways you don’t want to miss! I’m excited, I know you’ll be excited, so let’s party together on March 10th!
Favorite January Reads
While these two reads were very amazingly goodEspecially Crown of Midnight! That book was every bit as epic as my friends had promised me! While I loved every single page of reading those two books, unfortunately, there were some other books that I didn’t really like.
I had to write 3 not-so-positive reviews, which I hated and after those 3 books I kinda lost my will to read for a little while. I think I was mostly dreading another bad book, so I stuck to the books I knew I would like. I read less than I planned to read and I am mostly disappointed in failing the goal I set for myself right away in January. So I’m getting out of my stupid slump starting with this post! If I haven’t posted another post tomorrow, you guys may spam me on Twitter until I do!
Stuck on Replay
I think it the music video for Unconditionally is absolutely beautiful *sigh* it has this dark-fairy-tale-like quality about it and I can’t seem to stop listening to that song and stop watching that video!
